Akiro Protech is registered as a Private Limited in India, with its manufacturing facility in Bangalore.

It manufactures Unidirectional fabrics, woven fabrics and prepregs using aramid and ultra high molecular weight polyethylene yarn. Its products are deployed for soft body armor, rigid armor, platform armor, composites, aerospace and more. In addition, it also produces Nylon 6,6 fabrics for various applications.

Madhusudhan Rammoorthy and Rohit Sankhla are the Directors of Akiro Protech. They have over 36 years experience in the field of technical textiles and armor ballistics, and came together to setup this venture.

Madhusudhan Rammoorthy has been in the ballistic armor business for over 27 years. He is an industry expert and has publications and patents in this domain.

Rohit Sankhla has enormous experience in manufacturing high performance fabrics for armor and other industrial applications. He has prior ventures in this domain in a career spanning a decade.
